Chiral Technologies Showcases Latest Addition to Product Portfolio at HPLC 2011

ILLKIRCH, France — June 13, 2010 — At HPLC 2011, Chiral Technologies Worldwide will showcase its new immobilised chiral stationary phase (CSP), CHIRALPAK® ID™.  This CSP provides a novel enantiorecognition mechanism and is highly complementary to the original line of immobilised CSPs, allowing even greater success rates for solving challenging separations.

Visit Chiral Technologies Booth E10 and attend our vendor seminar at 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 20, 2011 in Mozart Hall to learn more about our products, highlighted below:

  • CHIRALPAK® IA™, IB™, IC™ and ID™ immobilized polysaccharide-based CSPs exhibit outstanding durability, leading to their extended lifetime, and also provide researchers with great flexibility to choose solvents for the most challenging separations of chiral compounds.
  • Columns packed with 3-µm CSPs offer high-speed separations with no loss in column efficiency, thereby resulting in shorter analysis time, which allows for processing more samples per day and greatly reducing cost per sample.
  • Protein-based columns Chiral-AGP, Chiral-HSA and Chiral-CBH are well-recognized for their extremely broad applicability for separation of chiral drugs, in addition to their use (specifically Chiral HSA) in drug-protein binding studies, which are vital for establishing pharmacokinetic characteristics of drug candidates.
  • SFC columns offer significant benefits, including speed of separation, speed of method development, improved column efficiency and, specifically, a great reduction in organic solvent usage.

Chiral Technologies Worldwide offers the largest portfolio of chiral phases, including immobilized and coated polysaccharides, protein-based, crown ethers and ion-exchange columns, packed with particles in size ranging from 3 µm to 20 µm. These CSPs are used in columns for supercritical fluid chromatography or high-performance liquid chromatography modes.  The company also provides method development and custom separation services.
