Chiral Technologies Worldwide Introduces a New Chiral Stationary Phase — CHIRALPAK® ID™

May 23, 2011 — Chiral Technologies Worldwide announces the availability of a new immobilized chiral stationary phase (CSP), CHIRALPAK ID. This CSP is the fourth addition to Chiral Technologies’ family of immobilized CSPs. This new selector provides a novel enantiorecognition mechanism and is highly complementary to the three previously introduced immobilized CSPs: CHIRALPAK IA, IB, IC.

The addition of this immobilized CSP signals an even greater success rate in addressing very challenging enantiomer separations. CHIRALPAK ID, as all polysaccharide-based Daicel phases, can be used in both high-performance liquid chromatography and supercritical fluid chromatography modes.

Use of the current set of immobilized CSPs will afford exceptionally high success rates in identifying the best method for separating chiral compounds, while screening with fewer columns and mobile phase combinations.

Scientists from Chiral Technologies Worldwide will present the latest technical results on the performance of all the immobilized CSPs — with focus on the newest, CHIRALPAK ID — at the following meetings:
